Somaliland: A place and people blessed by ALLAH.

Somaliland has had its share of difficulties and struggles throughout its past. From ethnic conflict to political dispute to economic hardship, Somaliland has had a rocky path shaped by its words and determination. Nevertheless, the land and its people have once again demonstrated ALLAH's blessing to them as they endure on in pursuit of security, peace, and prosperity.

Somaliland's quest for independence began following the Somali civil war in the 1980s. The land was littered with fire-towers, political upheaval, and crumbling infrastructure. Nevertheless, through the chaos, the people of Somaliland have been steadfast in their determination to bring about their own land once again.

Choosing peace over world powers, Internationally, where nations ally with world powers, Somaliland went it alone. The people of Somaliland have realized that they will value both peace and stability, even at the hand of their fellow neighbors working with foreign powers. As a people united, and acting creatively, they learn that together is the greatest progress novelty.

Somaliland's decision to advance through self-determination and independence is a representation of their people's determination and perseverance. Despite a lack of respect for international law, the country has attempted to form its own institutions, adhere to regular elections, and remain committed to peace and stability. And these statements are a testament to the resilience of the Somaliland people.

Somaliland's natural beauty and bounty is evidence to all of the blessings this land has to offer its people. From stunning landscapes, to include the majestic shores of the gulf of Aden to rich cultural history, and varied wildlife, will keep Somaliland a resource of natural beauty for all, and the vibrance in her people contributes intrinsically to this with traditions, culture and entrepreneurial spirit of its ambitions and aspirations.
